Comment: A usual sight with us, Verna walking down the road to get a better picture of the view. Here at Pass dal Fuorn, we are at 2149 meters (7050 feet).
passo pordoi * Passo Pordoi, high in the Dolomites, is at 2239 meters (7345 feet).

passo palade * Gampenpass (German) or Passo Palade (Italian), a lower pass in the Dolomites is grassy and forested at 1518 meters (4980 feet).

passo giau * Typical of many passes, the view at the pass summit is not much, but just before or after are often spectaular views (see the 2 different panoramas from Giau). This pass is at 2236 meters (7336 feet).

town in valley after fedaia * This town nestled in the valley below is a common sight from many of these mountainous roads. It is perhaps part of Selva de Cadore.
