Comment: Verna & Jim at the Furkapass, Switzerland where they first met. In mid June, there was still plenty of snow which made it quite chilly, but the roads were clear and nice.
passo giau * Typical of many passes, the view at the pass summit is not much, but just before or after are often spectaular views (see the 2 different panoramas from Giau). This pass is at 2236 meters (7336 feet).

town in valley after fedaia * This town nestled in the valley below is a common sight from many of these mountainous roads. It is perhaps part of Selva de Cadore.
