Comment: There were hundreds of bikes at this pass. So many that it was difficult to get a picture of all of them.
panoramic view passo giau * Panoramic view from the Passo Giau, from the direction we came up the pass.

bikes at moto hotel * Some of the 60 bikes staying at the motorcycle hotel in Trafoi, Italy on the north side of Passo di Stelvio.

bikes at moto hotel 3 * MOre of the 60 bikes staying at the moto hotel in Trafoi, Italy.

bikes at pordoi * Our bikes parked just before the summit of Passo Pordoi as we stopped to take pictures. While we were stopped, there was constant bike traffic up and down the road.

bikes passo giau
panoramic view from passo giau * A fantastic panoramic view from the Passo Giau. It truly seemed like you could see forever.

going up passo di sella * We stopped here on the way up to Passo de Sella because we were awed by the massive rock formations before us.

hotel mary pozza di fazzo * Our home for 2 days as we rode the passes in the Dolomites. Two star hotels like this were frequent, comfortable, and affordable.

goodbye jim verna * Here we parted company as Jim and Verna headed to Trento and Lars stayed for a few more passes.

jim at lake misurina * Jim at his bike when we stopped for lunch at Lago di Misurina. We ate on the little pier seen in the picture.
