Our plan for this year is to get our sidecar repaired from our accident in Gole, Turkey last September, get Verna’s broken ankle healed and get back on the road. We will be in Spain from January through February, in the USA from March to May and back in Germany in early June to pick up the sidecar.

 We will spend June in Idstein, Germany at the Hotel Zum Ziegelhutte, Am Bahnhoff 6, 65510 Idstein (+49 6126 702 77). Once again we owe the owners (Gabi and Erdmann Scheibe) a huge THANK YOU for letting us do the work on the sidecar in the garage of their hotel. If you are ever in the Frankfurt area and would like a nice hotel that is about 35 minutes by train from the city (25 minutes to Wiesbaden) please consider staying at their hotel. Their breakfast is one of the best we have had.

After the sidecar is fully functional we will spend the summer visiting various motorcycle rallies in Germany and riding in the Alps. We want to spend some time in the Alps riding off road in order to test the repairs to the sidecar.
