Our plan for this year wqs to tour as many of the old “East Bloc” countries as we could. Our original plan was to go to southern Italy and into Greece but we lost all of the month of April and half of the month of May taking a cruise through the Panama Canal. After completing the Panama Canal adventure we returned to Spain May 12th and relaxed for a few days, going thorough our mail and finishing some work on the bikes. We then hit the road. We went to Italy and then headed north to Austria and then east in Austria before turning south into Slovenia and then further south to Croatia. From southern Croatia we worked our way north. We visited Hungary, Romania, Austria (again to get the bikes serviced), then Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, and the Baltic Countries - Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Then it was back south and west with a long stop in Berlin, Germany.
