Yet another short train ride from London and we were in the town of Windsor where the queen resides at Windsor Castle. As it was explained to us, she only goes into Buckingham Palace (the office to her) about three times a week Windsor would certainly be my choice for a place to hang out! The picture above is actually the back view of the castle, but looked much mor inviting.

A c r o s s the river from Windsor is the town and college of Eton, where the elite young men of England are educated. Princes William and Henry were in attendance though we didn’t happen to see them. However, it is a lovely college and worth the visit.
