Ubeda

olive grovesWe came upon Ubeda in the fall of 2001 on our journey to the Malaga area for our winter hibernation. We were heading for Jaen for the night, but found no room at the Parador, so opted for the Parador at Ubeda instead. Ubeda was a little more off the beaten path so probably doesn’t get quite as many visitors as Jaen.

The town is situated in the midst of miles and miles of olive orchards. The town itself is situated on the top of a hill, giving a commanding view of the area.house patio
